Are there any stand-alone world building apps for Mac that are dead simple to use? Though I have played with more realistic apps like Sketchup and Vue, I really don't need that kind of precision. An animated, fairly repetitive look will do fine.
Tonight I've toyed with the world building function in an old copy of Civilization IV and that is just about what I really need. A little bit more detail and control would be great, but it's along the lines of what I want. Also I recall world building in Stronghold and SimCity. I need to be able to use the output for distribution, so a game won't do.
Are the engines for this available?
