I had a 2006 15" MBP that wouldn't eject disks sometimes. I had to physically pick up the laptop and hold it vertically as if the CD was going to fall out of the drive. Then I'd hit the eject button while shaking it a bit. It was scary, but it worked.

Just out of curiosity, what does that do that's different from holding down the eject button? I have a new MBP now and it has never happened with this one. But then again, I almost never use CD/DVDs. I only had the problem with the 2006 model.
