Not sure if the adapter is an issue yet. I asked over on 9to5mac where it started which model/variant of the s2 it is. But my comment disappears.

its certainly not the samsung attain(ATT variant) its much larger. its not the international version either, its a complete different design from the att variant.

I think the galaxy s2 are about to be released or will be released so there's few unboxing videos/photos to go around.

Here is what an Apple kiosk in Best Buy looks like. What is similar about them is that they both use Apple's trademarked icons.



Even if Samsung knew nothing about this before hand it is still incompetent business to have another company's logos sell your brand.

No idea what Euronics uses those logos for, or how they tie in with their store. That would be another unanswered question.

Samsung on the other hand did what? Made the power adaptor black and used a slightly different radius on the corner. Poor poor taste.

Well yes, and they were struggling for a while, but it looks like they may have called this one correctly. And in the spectrum of things that Zamzung have probably done wrong recently, this is pretty funny, but not really very serious.

Irony is ten posts of ad homs in a row calling others trolls.

PS. This Fandroid has nothing to say to that because Samsung's ripping off of Apple products is shameless. Some galaxy S (1&2) phones icons, touchwhiz, item shapes. Etc.

Just because we don't agree that a tablet should be banned for looking like a non existent Apple product doesn't mean we agree with Samsung on everything.

Just because we recognized how silly it would be for those wall graphics to be by Samsung doesn't mean we agree with them.

I'm sorry that your definition of Apple fan includes "must rabidly hate anything any company who is not Apple does and if anything fishy pops up the competition is always guilty and Apple innocent"

Here is a picture at Samsung's Galaxy S launch party:



I know one can customize Android to look like anything, but the pictures above were part of Samsung's marketing. I've seen many pictures of models holding up a Galaxy S where the home page looks very very similar to Apple's iPhone home screen. Something like that doesn't happen accidentally. Samsung pretty much set it up that way. Unless, there was a conspiracy by the models to alter the phones to look like iPhones!

And obviously, the similarity in icons used in Samsung Touchwiz to iOS icons are part of Apple's lawsuit against.

Yes and as many fandroids have said for years many galaxy s phones and touchwhiz are obvious copies of iOS and apple.

Doesn't mean Samsung is always guilty.

This is a non-story. It's obvious that the icon wall is not part of the Samsung display. A few months later this could very well be an Apple 'store within a store', with the exact same decorations on the walls.

You implied that it was OK for them to use the other logos because they weren't competing. I was simply showing that to be false. You need permission to use someone's trademark - whether you're in competition or they're your best buddy. I'm sure the display has changed more than a few times already. Pointless.

This is NOT lawsuit-happy America here. Sorry (again!).

In Europe, it happens quite often... and many times they don't have brand A or B in stock at the moment, or didn't bother to buy any of that seasons collections.

Samsung is clearly copying Apple every chance they get, with every mobile product and accessory they sell. However this is NOT one of their personal F'ups, OTHER than the FACT they posted the picture to their own website without taking a closer look at it. Probably didn't care: so sue me!
