os 9 hard disk drivers?

So i went x-only- yet my printer driver needs a valid 9 system folder to install- but I can't boot off a 9 cd and install a minimal one because, when I initialized, I didn't choose to install the 9 disk drivers-


Is there any way to get them back without re-formatting?

could you find a computer with OS 9 and firewire, then use its OS 9 files?

Don't wish to sound all smart Alecky, but does it not pay to have a small partition with a minimal OS 9 on it for just this sort of situation?

Yeah, I realized how STUPID it was to not keep 9 around... I eventually just re-initialised and reinstalled 9...

Can't wait to get back to X, though... (i scratched my 10.1 install cd, am waiting for a new one to arrive in the mail...)


You can be damned sure I won't be erasing 9 this time around, though.
