How to make Quake 3 run in full screen mode on a TiBook?

How do I make Quake 3 use all my TiBooks screen? I get vert black bars on both sides of the scree due to the Tibooks wide aspect ratio...

you have to do it through the config file.

Hopefully someone can be a bit more exact but if you open that up in a text editor you may figure it out on your own
