Well really if the thread proves anything it is that you can attempt to claim hypocrisy with religious because being nice is SUPPOSED to be consistent with religious beliefs.

However being a complete insufferable asshole who hates on everyone and everything you happen to disagree with is apparently completely consistent with being an atheist.

Therefore you can smugly claim not to be a hypocrite. However it doesn't stop you from being an insufferable asshole who hates everyone and everything which is much worse than being better than that most of the time but occasionally falling short.
