Is it not possible for someone - outside of the usual quota of sleaze-balls with bottomless pockets - to win the presidency? Look at the current set of GOP candidates: Romney, Gingrich, Santorum... And with the democrats in 2008... Obama and Hillary Clinton as front runners?

Out of the 300 million people in the US... what a pathetic showing...

However if you say there's no one you like and don't vote we get stuck with another Bush type. Apathy is what got Bush elected in 2000. Don't let it happen again because now we can't afford that again. Obama hasn't done everything I like but he's light years better than what we could have.
