You… plugged a WET ELECTRICAL CORD into a computer… Hang on a tick here.

Let it dry for a few days. Get a Q-tip and clean out the receptor on the computer itself and on the adapter.

If you have another computer that uses an adapter of equal or lesser wattage, plug this one into it and see if it charges. If so, the problem is with the computer. If not, you might need a new adapter.
