reset password / user?

Hi. When I got my iPad over the holiday season, my son set it up using his user name and password. How do I get him out, and me in?

I ask this, because iTunes asks for his password (which I have gotten rid of him here), but is he still the one who's signed in as the user?

I'm assuming you are talking about the iTunes app only. I don't know of any signing on to an iPad as a specific user.

But if you start up the iTunes app, scroll all the way to the bottom of the Music "tab", you should see an item that says "Apple ID: <your id here>" If you click on this, you will get the option to sign out. Then you should be able to sign in with any other ID you want.
