You'll need to be WAY more specific.

I guess if you wanted to be a Apple certified repair man then I guess you need one but any other job in Apple I don't think it really matters. I've been a programmer and IT specialist for the last 18 years and I am now the head of internal programming for a major banks trading systems in Zurich and I don't think I have ever seen a Apple certification on any resume that I have seen. Sure lots of experience with Apple products but a specific certificate, no never seen one. So I really don't think Apple will be looking for any but i guess it doesn't hurt to have one. Might be even be a waste of money to get one, I would focus on getting certificates in major areas like a networking certificate from Oracle/Sun/Red Hat/Windows Server or Software, C++/Java/Python/PHP/COBAL and so on. Apple, I wouldn't bother, well maybe if you wanted to get a job with a graphics house that uses predominantly Apples.
