The ad mixes the facts we know about Romney’s taxes — which remind viewers of his wealth — with pure speculation.

This is acceptable now. The Obama campaign, with nothing of note to run on and no real accomplishments to trumpet has declared that they can speculate about whether someone they are running against has done wrong rather than actually having to deal with facts, figures, numbers or hell even a discussion of ideals and philosophies.

So in this thread, we honor our president by practicing what he preaches against him.

This start off innocently enough. President Obama and his family are taking in a pre-Olympic basketball game.

However soon (OMINOUS TONE) the problems begin.

President Obama, a man known for his past history of vices, especially involving mind altering agents or even the mundane like cigarettes begins boozing it up.

Like many an unscrupulous man, President Obama decides to take advantage of his liquored up and loosened up wife to get his freak on.

But the problems compound because... this party is just getting started. What Mom doesn't know won't hurt anyone.

Oh noes.... Mom's looking pissed and incest plus child molestation plus statutory rape are all pretty serious crimes.

President Obama decides he really has to quit the booze when he realizes he's asking an old drunk Irishman where the hell his car is at while trying to escape his crimes.

Is Obama a drunk? He has a self admitted history of drug abuse.

Is he a polygamist? He certainly has a family history of it and his actions show several disturbing trends regarding his own child.

Is Obama right-handed? He has declared he is left-handed but is drinking that beer with his right hand!!!!

Does he have sex with goats? We don't really know that either but since we can hope and change the election to pure speculation instead of a discussion about performance and ideas, no one need worry about facts or proof.

More coming soon......

As predicted, this thread will be ignored.   Obama can do whatever he pleases with impunity.  He can accuse Romney of being a felon.  He can claim he has kept federal spending the lowest it's bee in 60 years. He can blame Bush--for everything.  He can decide not to enforce laws.  He can lie about what Obamacare is...twice.  He can write and enact his own laws.  He can ignore the War Powers Resolution.  None of it matters to his supporters, nor most of the media.

I don't care if they comment or not. I'm going to find another series of pictures and have my fun again soon. As you note Obama has become quite the imperial president and has not a single scruple or belief he hasn't thrown under the bus. Bush certainly damaged the Republican brand but Obama, he's burning the Democratic Party to the ground.

The Obama's are an attractive family and when doing regular, every day activities, are a joy to look at and also they are great role models in certain areas. Please use them because they aren't my photos. Have plenty of fun.

Trump, you've taken a beating over the years here from some members for lying, making simple truths excruciatingly complex, if indeed fathomable at all, ignoring the content of other peoples posts simply to carry on with your own form of partisan bs and many other things too. But, through all of that you still remain courteous. Credit to you.

Did Obama underreport his income?

Quote:

Barack Obama won a US Senate race in 2004.  The US Senate has Annual Financial Disclosure reports for all members.  Then-Senator Barack Obama filed his 2004 report on June 5, 2005, exactly three months after his income tax return was completed.  The 2004 Annual Financial Report, Barack Obama confirmed his salary compensation for the State of Illinois was $60,287.

In neither his U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, nor his Senate Annual Financial Report for 2004, does Barack Obama report his actual compensation from the State of Illinois.  In both cases, Barack Obama has under-reported the income, as certified by the Illinois Comptroller's Office.

The IRS can bring charges of fraud under 26 USC 7206(1) for "fraud or false statements" made to on the U.S. Individual Income Tax Return.  This can be prosecuted as a Class E felony, with maximum fines of $100,000 and imprisonment of up to 3 years.

The Senate's Financial Disclosure Statement warns that:  "Any individual who knowingly and willfully falsifies, or who knowingly or willfully fails to file this report may be subject to civil and criminal sanctions.  It then refers to three laws which may apply: 5 USC app. 6, 104 and 18 USC 1001.

Barack Obama certified that: "the statements I have made on this firm and all attached schedules are true, complete and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief", upon signing this report.

Barack Obama - tax cheat and felon in multiple fields.

Pants on FIRE!!!

Quote:
The Obama campaign provides virtually nothing to back that up, however. It has no evidence that Romney explicitly opposed the exception for rape and incest. While he supported the "human life amendment," there are many versions and the most recent ones allow abortion after rape or incest. And it's worth noting that in 2011, Romney declared that has said he supports those exceptions.

In its effort to appeal to women, the Obama campaign has twisted Romney's position to a ridiculous degree. We rate the claim Pants on Fire.

Why is Obama so desperate that he has to outright speculate and lie?

Quote:

In the latest week-long survey results (July 16-22) from Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll, which sampled 3500 likely voters, the gender gap has fallen to five points (48/43) — but it’s only down to two points in today’s three-day rolling average (46/44).  Meanwhile, Romney has a 13-point lead among men, 54/41, in today’s result, and a nine-point edge from the previous weeklong results, 50/41.  When leaners are included in the three-day rolling average, Romney has a twelve-point lead among men, 55/43 — and a tie among women with Obama at 47/47.  Among those women “certain” of their vote, Obama only has a one-point edge, 38/37.  Among men certain of their vote, Romney leads by 14, 47/33.

Romney also leads the tracking poll overall by five points, 49/44 — and that was before today’s GDP report.

It seems that Team Obama has good reason to hit the panic button, and not just in Virginia.  They need to scare women back onto the Democratic reservation, and setting their own pants on fire looks like their only option, now that “Julia” has been banished to the Island of Misfit Political Mascots.

Why the hell don't you have some respect for the President because perhaps you have no self respect for yourself. If this was in another country like in the Middle East you would not be here by now with these dumb remarks you incite with these photos.

An Australian reporter covering the US for the past several years put it succinctly. The US is facing massive changes due to the erosion of traditional socio-economic assumptions. California is now majority Latino or approaching so depending on the age groups. The economy is in the doldrums. The heydays of domestic oil is long, long gone. If there was a major war with China or Russia or someone else there's probably not going to be enough money to fight it. The US has some remarkable talent, entrepreneurship, and many achievements the envy of the world. But a lot of people are also missing out. Affordable healthcare is a dream for many. Unlike what you'd read here, approval for Obamacare is nearing 50% in recent polls.

My comments:
This is why 50% of the country is freaking out, going ultra-conservative, right-wing, proudly saying things like "They should kill Assange" on national television and so on. They cannot cope. When they see people slaughtered by gun violence, all they can do is light candles, and "think of the families"... which, while noble, we should also think of the killer and particularly the killing machines not found in many other developed countries. Even more fucked up many will go out and buy ~more~ guns, thinking they can save everyone from the next psychopath, by having some sort of Wild West Shootout in the middle of a shopping mall or cinema, where trained police usually failed. This is why they're grasping at straws ~ are they so desperate that a Mormon* with dodgy business dealings and poor international expertise is America's best hope?

*Clarification: I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but merely it seems like there were no more better mainstream candidates?

The schadenfreude played in so called "right vs left" is that Obama or Romney actually matter. They don't. The US government is run by the corporations for the corporations: wall street, big banks, big oil, big health, big pharma, big auto, military-industrial complex.

These real shadows behind the scene laugh at the puppet play we watch which we think is "democracy".

Within this century we may see some States secede due to intolerance especially with the folly of Federal government.

Romney does file his taxes "on time."   Additionally, Mass. unemployment was well under 5% for his tenure in office.   At least post photos that make sense.

I do not respect the President because he does not respect me, nor America itself.  I do respect the office of the Presidency.  That is why I would smile and be polite if he walked into the room right now.  Secondly, every time someone criticizes Obama, you tell that person he should "go to the Middle East."  That doesn't even make sense.  Our freedoms do not come from Obama, nor government in general.  It is our right to criticize politicians...even our duty.  Of course, it does take a certain amount of intelligence to do so...  :)

What biased bullshit.

1.  California is bankrupt because liberal politicians spend like drunken sailors for decades.  Government expanded at a dramatic pace.  Many public employees retired at 95% of their highest salary...forever.

2.  Domestic oil could boom again.  It's booming in places like North Dakota, where they're drilling on private land and unemployment is under 4%.  The government is the cause of the problem, as usual.

3.  This reporter is parroting Obama's "clinging to guns a religion" remarks.  Surprise, surprise.

4.  Obamacare is "nearing 50% approval?"  LOL.  lol.gif  Obamacare is unpopular 57-43, a number that has barely changed since after it was passed.  The American people do not want it.  Why?  Because it sucks.  It's the worst of all worlds.

5.  Yes, you are saying being Mormon is a bad thing.  If you weren't, you'd not have mentioned his religion.  Secondly, to what "shady business dealings" are you referring?  Given Obama's Rezko dealings, sealed records, etc...how can you even be serious?

The U.S. isn't facing erosion due to what you state. I've started a few threads, and you should go read them that assign most troubles to the Baby Boomer generation. They've believed they are above the rules their entire life and almost all have lived, earned, spent or (lack of) invested accordingly.

This belief in being beyond the rules manifests itself in a multitude of odd and strange ways. For many Boomers the manifestation is both in family and financial. They divorce and call "quality time" the same as actual parenting. They label all manner of defective and ineffective households the same as those that yield the best results. For finance, they've basically been trying to believe you don't have to invest or make things their entire lives. Even Steve Jobs wasn't immune as he believed that altering his diet could somehow cleanse cancer from his body.

As for finances, they've created and watched pop bubble after bubble in industry after industry believing that nothing will ever revert to the mean, that the rules have changed and this time it really will last forever.

My number one rule is that EVERYTHING reverts to the mean. No one is above the rules and even if you manage to catch an early break or be an innovator in a new industry, the profit margins, the sales, the money that can support that industry and the growth itself all eventually revert to normal numbers.

This is part of why I've been much more active in the Apple forums because clearly Apple, and the entire cell industry has experienced amazing growth, growth that was largely stolen from the Personal Computer industry, but amazing growth and the low hanging fruit is done there. The easy growth is gone. The fat margins will thin.

You can either change when that happens or you can construct and deceive yourself with elaborate ruses and lies. The boomers have been lying to themselves about the fat growth of America for their entire lifetimes. They've borrowed and spent the difference instead. It will be a hard thing to overcome.

That said the U.S. will probably make out okay because while our Boomers bought those lies, the rest of the world have bought even bigger ones. China bought the lie that demography isn't destiny. It is and it always will be. The one child rule will be the end of them in many ways. Europe all manner of immigration, financial and demographic lies. We've discussed countries like Australia and Canada and perhaps their real strength right now is that they are role players in world affairs. On a team one of the few people who cannot delude themselves is a role player. They have to know from the beginning what their strengths and weaknesses are and exploit them or they won't even have a real chance. They aren't the star. They can't believe they are above the rules. Canada made the cuts in social programs. They export oil. They kept their budget balanced. No one could convince them that perhaps because they had once been amazing or looked amazing now, that the rules and numbers didn't need to be followed or add up.

The numbers always add up and they will add up for the U.S., but they will also add up for Japan, China, and the EU as well.

The numbers will even add up for a Peace Prize winner who doubles down on war.

DCCC apologizes.

Quote:

“In press statements issued on June 29 and July 2, 2012, the DCCC made unsubstantiated allegations that attacked Sheldon Adelson, a supporter of the opposing party.  This was wrong.  The statements were untrue and unfair and we retract them.  The DCCC extends its sincere apology to Mr. Adelson and his family for any injury we have caused,” the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee said in an unusual statement released on Thursday afternoon.

The DCCC had seized on an Associated Press report indicating that a former executive at the Las Vegas Sands Corporation in China alleged in legal documents that Adelson was aware of prostitution at the casino’s location in Macau. Adelson is CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.  “What will Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor and House Republicans do with their Chinese prostitution money?” the DCCC had asked on its website, according to ABC News. The taunt was referring to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), the majority leader.

Adelson pushed back, threatening legal action against the committee for perpetuating what his attorneys called defamatory statements “falsely accusing Mr. Adelson of encouraging and profiting from prostitution,” according to ABC.

Adelson helped keep Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign afloat earlier this year by infusing a super PAC supporting his candidacy with millions of dollars. Since Gingrich’s bid ended, Adelson has provided significant support to groups groups working to elect Republican congressional candidates

Thursday’s retraction is a public relations victory for Adelson, who along with the billionaire Koch brothers — also conservatives — have been strongly criticized by Democrats for their immense financial influence on electoral politics this cycle.

"We are gratified that the DCCC has acknowledged its error," Ron Reese, a spokesman for Adelson said in a statement Thursday, in response to the DCCC's apology. "More broadly, this should serve notice to those who would attempt to smear Mr. Adelson by repeating the false and inflammatory statements of a fired employee - that this is a very slippery slope."

Harry Reid is a pedophile!

Quote:

I got that from a reliable source who made me promise not to reveal his name.  But he knows.  Honest.

Now I’m sure some would expect me to back up this claim with some of those “fact” thingys or maybe a link or two.  Well, given that I’ve promise anonymity for my source, not happening.  Just Google “Harry Reid pedophile” there are 1.79 million hits.

I’ve known this for some time but I was reluctant to go public with the information because I always back up my writing with facts and links.  Since I’m sworn to secrecy this time I was uncomfortable putting this story out until some seminal events occurred this week, and I figured “what’s good for the goose…”

Why are all these Democrats losing their minds, their scruples and any future attempt to claim motivations for the little guy or a just world? Ann Coulter nails it perfectly.

Quote:
Four days after Judge Schnider unsealed the custody records, Ryan dropped out of the race for the horror of (allegedly) propositioning his own wife and then taking "no" for an answer.

Alan Keyes stepped in as a last-minute Republican candidate.

And that's how Obama became a U.S. senator. He destroyed both his Democratic primary opponent and his Republican general election opponent with salacious allegations about their personal lives taken from "sealed" court records.

Obama's team delved into Sarah Palin's marriage and spread rumors of John McCain's alleged affair in 2008 and they smeared Herman Cain in 2011 with hazy sexual harassment allegations all emanating from David Axelrod's pals in Chicago.

It's almost like a serial killer's signature. Unsealed personal records have been released to the press. Obama must be running for office!

So you can see what a pickle the Obama campaign is in having to run against a Dudley Do-Right, non-drinking, non-smoking, God-fearing, happily married Mormon.

They've got to get their hands on thousands of pages of Romney's tax filings so that the media can -- as Romney says -- lie about them. It will be interesting to see if Obama can pick the lock of the famously guarded IRS.

That's nothing.  I heard that Michelle Obama is a man.  Also, Joe Biden is gay.  And Obama has been embezzling tens of billions from the U.S. Treasury--building secret Dr. Evil-like volcano palaces that look like his own face.  I got all of this from extremely credible sources.

Maybe if your family needed some type of medical coverage and someone had cancer you would think before spewing out these dumb statements you make about Obama care.

What's really scary is this thread.  These are some sick fantasies that are exposing a pretty awful part of the right-wing psyche.

Yes sadly you would be correct about that. I'm sure certain elements of the extremists in that circle are just like this. Some would find them funny. I don't. Especially the parts involving the first family. Poking fun at the politician and how he/she approaches the issues is one thing. Making bad or sick jokes about him and his family is another.

You two are hilarious. There is an hour of this on television a day called the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Thin-skinned doesn't even begin to describe how incapable you are of taking that which you dish in return.

As for what it reveals about broader causes, I will be more than happen to fill a different thread full of the hateful "comedy" stylings Bill Maher and others.

So on those shows they're making tasteless comments about Romney and his family. The same caliber of comments you're making here about Obama like in your poll? Or what you've said in jest about his family? Really?

It is funny to suggest it is even limited to those shows. The tasteless jokes and pure speculation goes on across all manner of "news" shows.

Here's a nice one where Joy Beyer states her desire to see his house burn down.

Here's one where a news show features a comedy clip from afore mentioned shows mocking Ann Romney for participating in dressage

Lawrence O'Donnell Mocks Ann Romney for Riding Horses to Combat Multiple Sclerosis

This wasn't even trying hard. So yes, really really.

I've looked at your links and while they aren't nice they're hardly the same thing. Like for example post # 11 of this thread and that's just one. None of these asked questions if Romney was a distributor of child pornography or other such nonsense. You're reaching here Trumptman.

The point is these are people with shows, audiences and who are supposed to be presenting the news or at least informed discussion on the news. Instead they are mocking and deriding. I've proven my point and I don't have to indulge you by demonstrating some sort of "severity" on the Jimmac scale.

It's severe on any scale. Trying to downplay it now is just back peddling. I hate tabloid type editorializing myself. Like say oh FOX News. However it's just a plain old rationale ( and not a good one ) for you to feel justified in what you've done in this thread. So they play dirty on those shows and that's an excuse for you to come here and play dirtier? I don't think so. That's a little like saying " The Devil made me do it ". ( eyes roll )
