While it may be be true (and I'm not yet convinced of this) that Mitt Romney becoming president would be the lesser of two evil situations, I'm not sure that commentary is terribly convincing. A few minor points:
I'd argue it is about Socialism Brand A and Socialism Brand B.
That may well be, but he also seems to have strong crony capitalist streak and appears to be solidly Keynesian in his economics. I don't believe Romney is that much more of a free-marketer than Obama is.

No question that Obama is a disaster.
Perhaps this person is simply using this concept of American as company and President as CEO metaphorically, but even so...I believe this is actually the root of the problem in this country. When even a self-proclaimed libertarian and capitalist evangelist is thinking about and referring to things this way, we know we have a very long way to go.
Bottom line? America is NOT a company, nor is the US government. And we don't need a President as CEO. I am relying on correctly sampled polls, trends in those polls, breakdowns in those polls (i.e. women, highly motivated voters, party ID, etc) as well as anecdotal evidence like crowd sizes. All of that tells me Romney wins. We've been through the gamut as far as the details. That said, here are few quick additional facts:

I volunteered making calls yesterday, and the coordinator for the county told me PA looked tight, but they felt confident they could win. It all comes down to turnout. If it's what some of the polls show, then Romney can't win. If it's closer to what Morris and Rove predict (and what early voting is showing), Romney wins going away. As you said, we'll see.
