Whatever this sounds like rumor mill material.
I think you've watched too many action movies or TV. The truth is she fainted , fell, and hit her head.![]()
Any other ideas I'd file under the same logic as the idea that the Mayans predicting the world would end on 12/ 21 /12.
In other words ignoring the obvious and most likely in favor of something more.....well shall we say tabloid.![]()

Not really. One of the most powerful and important persons in the world who is attended 24/7 by SS and/or military escort and maybe also physician is left alone to work off a stomach flu and falls becuase of it, suffers a concussion, doesn't seek medical care and it's so bad that creates a dangerous clot? I don't buy it. If that's the case the state department needs to redo their security for more than just consulates.

That's so silly and over blown. You do know that she's had one before in 1998 right?

Clinton in early December began the final few weeks of a widely lauded term as the nation's top diplomat. But a celebratory mood increasingly gave way to worry and uncertainty over her future as she took ill with a stomach virus, then seemed to deteriorate. While at home recuperating from the virus, Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, fell and struck her head, leading to a concussion, her spokesman said.
Nothing strange at all. I really doubt the SS is by her side every second at home ( and could have prevented this ).![]()
No conspiracy and nothing more to see.

Interesting... Mittens lied, distorted and reversed his opinions (often on the same day) and even dismissed almost half the country (many Republicans included) so many times a cartoon of him with five mouths and the comment, "stop me when I say something you like" or something like that was made.... but some people wanted him to be POTUS. The guy didn't even want the job (this will likely be twisted into a positive).
Lie of the year.
But Rice? She is the incarnation of evil.
Go figure.
Gotta ask: where are those tax returns? What was he hiding? Was it that amnesty program at UBS? If a Dem had tried the same, would he or she have been let off sooooo incredibly easily?
And what was that dog-carry-atop-the-car field trip?
Among many other examples.
Insights into character. Bad character. Which was wildly embraced.
But Rice? Well...

Your = the possessive of you, as in, "Your name is Tom, right?" or "What is your name?"
You're = a contraction of YOU + ARE as in, "You are right" --> "You're right."

Who claimed Rice was "evil"? Just a complete lap dog that lied to the nation's face to help Obama get reelected.
But other than that she's just not that good.
Here we thought she was an Africa expert. Rather just another politician.
And that's what this stupidity is all about. The facts are Rice commented on what she knew at the time. Clinton had the flu, fainted, and fell and hit her head. She got a blood clot which apparently she's prone to. End of story. It doesn't have anything to do with anything else like planes and plots or as some tabloids claim " Cancer ".![]()

Actually, I'd have to agree with both of you here as both are true. She proagated the lie, but I don't think she knew it was a lie. Her behavior since being questioned on the statement is more troubling to me. She has been evasive, to say the least.

See, I was all ready to agree with you ( see above), and them you have to go and post something asinine like this. He was expressing his opinion of what Rice's actions amounted to. It's not a question of "proof," genius.
SDW everything when making decisions for people has to be based on proof or evidence of some kind. Otherwise you're just like the Tea party.![]()

And their you go again with the derogatory names.

He needs proof to believe that Rice was given faulty information. Isn't the proof found in the that the information was, uh, proven false?
I don't know what that means. The Tea Party was founded to stop the runaway growth in spending and size of the government. Are you actually claiming they don't have any facts to support their concerns?
I called you a genius. If you think that's derogatory, I can't help you.

Yes I know you'll never get it. Your blinders are too big for you to see anything else. However it still won't change anything. No wonder you don't recognize our country anymore. It hasn't been your version of it for quite sometime now.

Yes, yes we know " looney liberals ". If that's the way it is you surely don't mind us going back " Right wingnuts " Right?
Both are wrong approaches to serious conversation but when someone's talking to you that way it's a little difficult to ignore.
The Tea Party was founded to stop the runaway growth in spending and size of the government. Are you actually claiming they don't have any facts to support their concerns?
The Tea party wants to define how everyone thinks and how they should live their life. The Tea party is more concerned with their agenda than the people who are involved in the issues within that agenda. The Tea party got too big for their collective britches and now they're seeing the result of that in lost support ( and this is only the beginning ).
He was blaming Rice. She can only comment on the info she's been given and that's nothing to do with her.
And about the Genius comment it's the context that makes all of the difference. It wasn't a complement but nice try at a back peddle. If you don't understand see your thread " Mitt Romney is going to Win ".

If that's true, I would think liberals and Democrats would love them! Since this is the liberal M.O. also. Though I suppose the rejection and demonization is due to the possibility that the Tea Party doesn't want to define how everyone thinks and how they should live their lives in the same way as Democrats and liberals and "progressives."
The state is nothing more than a criminal gang writ large.

Yes this is an example of conservative spin. Try to make the public believe it's the Democrats and liberals who want to control everyone's life when in reality the one's that want to do that are the ultra conservatives. They want to tell you what drugs are legal or ok and which are bad ( including spreading FUD about them ), they want to tell you you must go to church otherwise you're not part of the system so your opinion shouldn't be considered, and they want to tell who you can marry.
If this was a person and not a party we were talking about it would be called " Projection ". Giving someone else attributes that you exhibit.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection
Yes it's been a good spin technique for them for years that isn't working anymore.![]()

If that makes you feel better.
If you think the Democrats and liberals and progressives don't want to, you are astonishingly blind.
Are you referring to Barack Obama's war on drugs? War on raw food? War on raw milk? Are you referring to Bloomberg's war on soda and baby formula and salt? Are these the things you're referring to?
What the **** are you talking about?! That's the most insane thing I've ever heard.
Yes, that's exactly what you are doing.
The state is nothing more than a criminal gang writ large.
The state is nothing more than a criminal gang writ large.
Are you blind? When was the last time an atheist was elected to office in a red state?
That's not the claim. The claim was that some people are telling others they need to go to church or they cannot be involved. This is a lie. I'm not surprised that you would support this lie. I'm not surprised that you would also support the hypocrisy included this accusation. Particularly the hypocrisy as exhibited by your buddy BR who frequently tells people of faith that they really have no business injecting their values and opinions in the social, cultural and political process.

It's not a matter of me feeling better. It's just the way it's been.
If you think the Democrats and liberals and progressives don't want to, you are astonishingly blind.
Every group has do good-er types that want to tell us how to live our lives but if you can't see the huge difference between the Democrats and the approach the ultra Conservative mind set wants for us all it's either spin or blindness. Maybe both.
What the **** are you talking about?! That's the most insane thing I've ever heard.
Spin. Most of the logic used by the ultra Conservative is based on religious belief ( we are a God fearing nation after all ). I'm sure it's convenient to try to paint it as insane. Especially when it's obvious to the rest of the world.![]()
Yes, that's exactly what you are doing.
Ok. Take this time for instance. You did it first didn't you.![]()
Holy fucking cow! Wow.
No. I didn't do it at all.
P.S. I noticed you completely blew past this:

No. I didn't do it at all.

This is a falsehood. You are lying in this instance and it's here for all to see.
You tried to turn around a statement I made with this :
Implying that it's ok since another group does it also. Reducing the blame. However the truth is anything the Democrats do in this arena pales in comparison to political maneuvering on the Republican side. Do you remember Bush wanting prayer back in the schools? A major change from the idea of separation of church and state. There are so many beliefs out there how do you pick the right one? They were separated for a good reason MJ. Decisions for government shouldn't be made with this. It's a personal preference and would lead to one group dominating everyone else. Something the conservative mind set misses again and again. It's like they're saying " Well what's wrong with that idea since we're right after all! " Who's version of right?
Are you referring to Barack Obama's war on drugs?
Let's take this one for instance. I seem to remember a previous president coining the term first. ![]()
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_on_Drugs
And MJ he wasn't a Democrat.
The history of conservatives wanting to run our lives ( especially religious ones ) is a long one MJ.
You're spitting in the wind.
Edited by jimmac - 1/8/13 at 12:56pm
I'm lying about what you think is going on in my own mind? Priceless.
It doesn't much matter who coined it when the current one is dialing it up. Nice attempt at misdirection. You're a moron.
I noticed that you still blew past:

I noticed that you still blew past:
Let's look at a recent statement Obama made about the legalization of pot in Washington and Colorado for example :
http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2019900150_apusobamalegalizingmarijuana.html
Obama won't go after legal pot users in Washington, Colorado
President Obama says he won't go after Washington state and Colorado for legalizing marijuana.
You're spitting in the wind MJ.![]()
Ps. And now you stoop to the SDW tactic of name calling :
You're a moron.
Truly pathetic. The desperate act of someone who doesn't have a real argument. It's you who are taking the low road in this. It's you who are going for misdirection ( not the first time I might add ).
Pathetic.
And hey if you want ot poison yourself with salt that's ok by me but there's way too much of it in our diet.
Edited by jimmac - 1/8/13 at 1:07pm
So he's going to (finally) respect states rights. Nifty. That doesn't change the fact that he's ratcheted up the drug war everywhere else. You continue to ignore this to defend your savior.
No, genius. When you refer to who coined the phrase "war on drugs" and ignore the current administration's actual actions. That's misdirection of the stupidest kind.
I notice you continue to blow past this:
The state is nothing more than a criminal gang writ large.

Another insult tactic from the SDW play book!
Also I've previously acknowledged that the Democrats do this also but it's nothing when compared to what the Republicans have done ( or didn't you catch that? ). Also these are healthy changes with respect to the food items. I don't believe anyone's trying to outlaw salt.![]()
As for Obama's position on drugs it's been mild in comparison to previous administrations. He is a politician after all and I'm sure he would make lots of people mad if he just said let's legalize it all. It's really funny how times change when we a have a liberal in the Whitehouse. For years you didn't even see people smoking pot on TV or the movies ( since the late 70's ). Now it's back again as the attitude has been more accepting.
You're just spitting in the wind MJ ( and you look desperate and foolish doing it ).
