Never said that. Said I don't want anyone there that can't do the job. If more women don't have the skills to do the job, they shouldn't be there. That does not in any way imply that women cannot have said skills.

They don't have to, I guess. If they want to be put on the team, apparently they do, as there aren't many, as was said.

I imagine Apple wouldn't settle for less than what they considered 'best'. If no one can do the job to that standard, then their skills aren't as proficient as needed.

It's the only possible reason that matters. What else is there? It's a job. You can either do it or you can't. If you're not capable of doing it, you shouldn't be. If you don't have the skills to do it, and you WANT to do it, work harder at your job and you should be able to apply. If they're not there, it's either because they don't want to be or there's no one there that can, as yet, meet the standard.
