Apple seeks another $707 million in damages from Samsung - Page 3

Actually, they didn't. They claimed to have orders for something like that, but sales were far below that number. For example, if a carrier ordered 4 M phones (1 M per quarter for the next 4 quarters), that would be 4 M in Samsung's "orders" number.

Notice, as well, that Samsung talks about big numbers when it's about shipments and market share, but when it comes to the court asking how many they actually SOLD (in order to calculate damages), the numbers are much, much lower.

No they didn't and there's no way you can prove they did. It's all smoke and mirrors. Samsung does not release sales figures unless forced to by a court of law. And when forced to release actual sales figures (of the Tab) the whole world saw that they lied through their teeth. 20 million S3s? In your dreams maybe.

They did their frigging job, they weighed the facts, they found them guilty, and THEN they sent the message.

Come on.

I like this guy. I like idiots.

Well really, I hate you. Litigation is great. We get to protect out work that we spent time and money on, and they don't get to use it. And that is just one of the many reasons litigation is good. And yeah, cuz there was no iOS jailbreak tweak that offered stuff that Android copied from them. And if Google is god, why did their maps suck when THEY FIRST LAUNCHED?? HUH, HUH, HUH?

Shut the **** up you stupid little troll. Get the **** away from AI, go to the fucking Verge or something.

Do you mean that a jury can't do it's job properly whilst also sending a message?

The two are mutually exclusive?

"No jury that has ever done its job properly has ever sent a message with its verdict."

Never mind that this would mean that no jury has ever come to a verdict in history, but that's what he'd have to believe.

Apple should hire more engineers instead of lawyers.

It ticks me off that, despite my requests, AI still refuses to implement an IQ testing system when creating accounts.

The current 'touch your nose' system is getting us nowhere.

So you think companies should not follow rules, apply for patents and protect those patents when granted?

And they are somehow wrong when they follow the law?

He won't answer this.

Guys like this never have the balls, or the brains, to be able to properly respond to questions like this.

And even if he did, he'd need to check what the correct answer was with his mum first.

Well, at least where I live, cursive is now taught cursorily to be simply read, not written. I don't recall when they started that… My cursive's beautiful! Kids need to learn how to write properly.

I'm surprised banned users can even read threads, which is how it appears… On MacRumors, the entire forum would be reduced to a single page when banned, same with nearly every other site, I think.

So, why don't you buy whatever the **** you want and stop wasting time registering  and posting on forums dedicated to stuff you believe is trash? Do you have some type mental disease? Why do you care so much? Apple is pathetic? Why don't you go door to door "enlightening" people about how shitty Apple is? Apparently enough people like their products to make them the most successful company on the planet, with the most successful phone on the planet, and the most successful tablet on the planet, all with the most successful appstore on the planet. Please, nobody cares about your shitty opinion. Shut the **** up and buy and enjoy what you want instead of self-righteously mocking, insulting, and shitting on people and their choice of product, as if you know something they don't. You don't. I'm sure I can program circles around your ass, and know more about tech than you can ever dream to, yet I choose to use iOS and an iPhone. Deal with it. Go out, make some friends. Play in the sun. Cause nobody gives a shit about your useless opinion.

So keep it at that - just an opinion. Stop proclaiming it as fact, and also realize that we don't care about your opinion. I'm sorry, but your opinion just doesn't matter to us. You don't need to go away mad, just go away.

I dunno. Did you just get one? lol.gif I would hope they can't. Hang on; I'll find it…

EDIT: I can't make heads or tails of our permissions list. Apparently mods aren't even allowed to see half the forums, and it says nothing inherently about allowing or restricting PMs.

No, but it could be a reason to log in even when banned.

Oh wait . . . they won't. Because it's really not possible to do when you're running a whored-out OS that is supposed to run on the good, the bad, and the downright ugly.

Horizontal business models always fail in the User Experience department.

Apple actually achieves greater performance with a lot less power. Why? Because iOS and iPhone come from under the same roof. That's what happens when you actually give a shit about what you put your logo on.

Not to mention the OS, compiler and Kernel talent amassed at Apple dwarfs that of Google.

@googleisgod: Really? is that why Mac only accounts for 7% of world wide computer usage? Because its so great? apple achieves greater performance with ios because its just  a grid of icons. nothing more. U can deny it all you want but thats the truth. You have to open an app just to see most fundamental information (email, facebook status etc). You still have to go to setting, bluetooth, or wifi to toggle on or off power management. simple tasks like these can't be managed on ios. Thats why its so "smooth". Have you tried the S3? no lag what so ever, and its functional. I would take functionality over "smoothness" any day. and dont even get started with the Maps. Talk about how someone cat butcher a perfectly working software

Chopsticks out number cutlery by user numbers. Does that make the chopstick a superior tool? Your numbers are wrong too, along with your stupid ranting. Why do you come to an Apple forum spouting your fandroid crap? Don't you have a big enough ego to be happy with what you have? Obviously you feel inferior, otherwise why else would you be here? Small ego, small penis, little intelligence?

Samsuck got caught out blatantly copying and have to pay the price. Best you get over it and let sleeping dogs lie. Enjoy your inferior, crappy, plastic, rubbish, iPhone clone product, with a fragmented, slow, laggy, stolen OS.

When you come into my home, you don't get off criticising my choice of decor without getting a kick in the ass.
