No More "Nifty 50"?

Why is no one anywhere talking about the fact that PUERTO RICO VOTED TO BECOME THE 51ST STATE?!

I mean, this is sort of important, you know? I only posted it in PO because it has to do with "voting". I suppose we can throw up our ideas about ratification, but that's not my purpose for posting this. Democrats'll be behind it because they figure it's 7 EVs for them. Republicans will be behind it to recapture some of the Hispanic vote there and elsewhere. But whatever…

 

I wanna talk about how their economy will improve, what that means for the Virgin Islands (inclusion in the state of Puerto Rico?), and when and where I can buy a 51 star flag (I'd actually like a 53).


Also, our flags on the moon are outdated now. We better go fix that.

I would have voted for independence, but that's me. :)

In all seriousness, I didn't know about the vote for 51 until today  Sounds cool.  Can somebody do a mockup of a new flag?

 

Your = the possessive of you, as in, "Your name is Tom, right?" or "What is your name?"

 

You're = a contraction of YOU + ARE as in, "You are right" --> "You're right."

I have them done up to 100 for an alternate history novel with which I assist.

Please note that the number of stripes is changed within the story.
