I meant both ways. Perhaps I should have used the word "migration" though my understanding of the meaning the word "emigration" did not indicate which direction only movement from one area to another. But I digress. I meant the freedom to go both ways.

MJ, when in US history since your KKK defended illegal rebellion against the union have Americans been killed en masse by the US government... maybe using the number of accidental gun deaths in any given year as a measuring stick for what I mean by "en masse"?

I teach gun education to my kindergarten kids. When they use building toys to make a gun, I tell them, "I don't like guns. Guns are bad. Guns hurt people." And I tell them to make an airplane instead. Of course I can do that, because where I live, guns are 100% illegal except for police (pistols only) and security (shotguns only). And where I live, with a population of 8 million, the last gun death was in 2009.

How ironic that the same people that say teaching kids how to avoid VD and accidental pregnancy will just teach kids to be irresponsible about sex think that teaching kids how to avoid firearms accidents will lead to them being responsible with guns. It's flabbergasting.

That is the intelligence we are confronted with in today's society. Ignorance is really ramped with the parents of today.

No, he's correct. The Civil War was first and foremost about states rights and the Constitutionally guaranteed right of secession.

There were also practical economic, tax and corporate issues at play that had nothing to do with slavery. Slavery was the publicly acceptable reason to go to war (for the northern states and Lincoln)...not unlike terrorism is used today and evil dictators are used as excuses to go to war for oil (Iraq), etc. This shit is as old as time itself.
