Any musicians out there who play guitar should try the software Midi Guitar out (free trial). It is mind blowing with GarageBand and other Mac software. Almost no latency, polyphonic and full control over midi instruments in the likes of GarageBand from a standard electric guitar using something like a JAM A/D interface (Apogee). Apple should buy this company and integrate this software into the Mac's music apps!

How did you get it to work on garageband?  I installed the audio unit properly, but cannot seem to find out how to use it to control the midi.
