Did you invest in a good computer? The chances are that if you're reading this you bought yourself a Mac. You spent more money on it than some cheap crappy Windows machine, because you wanted something that will function properly, with as little fuss as possible. The same is exactly true for government. In advanced countries we pay more taxes than in all the poor countries around the world. For our money we get something the equivalent to an excellent Mac. In countries that don't spend money on a good government, they get very little for their money, and things are often a real headache.
Buy yourself a good government. It just works that way.
