I have a new computer which has two hard drives on it, which is running 10.8.3. My old computer, which was running 10.6.4 is in for repairs and I would like to install the time machine back up of that old computer on one of the hard drives in the new computer. Does anyone know if there's a way I can put the time machine backup on the new computer, without overwriting the new computer's operating system? Like I said, I have two hard drives in the new computer available. I would like to be able to have the option of booting from the time machine backup (originally from the old computer running 10.6.4) or booting from the new computer running 10.8.3.
