The short note, seen above, comes nearly two weeks after Apple released the Mavericks GM to developers earlier in October. Alongside that build, a Golden Master version of Xcode 5.0.1 was also seeded.
Tuesday's correspondence suggests Apple is quickly moving toward a public release of OS X Mavericks, which has been planned to debut sometime this fall.
While Apple does not reveal the exact date it plans to unveil Mavericks in today's note, the company is widely expected to announce the next-generation OS X at a special event on Oct. 22. Invitations sent to press outlets on Tuesday read, "We still have a lot to cover," and features the top of Apple's logo with a background made from colorful versions of the mark's "leaf."
Anticipated at the event is a focus on new iPads, though some speculate Apple's Mac Pro desktop will finally emerge alongside Mavericks.
AppleInsider will be on hand for Apple's announcement, which will kick off at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern next Tuesday.
