I tend to use the Sony <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/snoffin/images/mdr7506.jpg" target="_blank">MDR-7506</a>

Incredible sound! Just not quite as small.

7506s here too, though i use my Koss PortaPros a lot cause they're small.

Eugene: don't those Etys cost almost as much as the iPod they're connected to?

No, not quite that much money. I didn't splurge fo the ER-4S earphones. I wish!

I also have a sweet little portable amplfiier in an altoids tin I used for the cd player, but it doesn't seem to really work well with the ipod... anyone want to buy it off of me?
