iPhoto

I get an error message when I try to open iPhoto.  Does iPhoto come with Mavericks? It shows in the list of apps that downloaded with Mavericks but doesn't open.   I can't find an update for it.  Is it sold separately from Mavericks?

I couldn't recall the error message.  I just went back and looked. iPhoto is no longer in Applications. Does it come with Mavericks or just sold separately?

Never mind. I got the answer: http://www.macworld.com/article/2056159/what-you-need-to-know-about-apples-free-apps-policy.html

I would have gotten the upgrade if I hadn't used clean installation and lost the Snow Leopard version of iPhoto.

Apple givith and Apple taketh away.
