iCal not updating, whatsup with that?

I posted some stupid post about apple.com showing the wrong date on their iCal icon. But it turned out it was my iCal icon that hasn't updated since yesterday. Call me lazy but I actually went around all morning thinking that it was still wednesday, and that my friday deadline was still far away...

Today is the 3rd of October. The iCal icon on the homepage changes everyday to reflect the current date.

It does when you open the application. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Yeah, I wish it would mirror the date and time from the system info. That way the date would always appear correct, not update only upon opening the application.

"It does when you open the application."

The application is open, dummy. Why do you think the icon says "2nd of oct."? The problem is iCal not updating, which really sucks.

And that is why I am still using Entourage. Other than the fact it cannot sync with ipod and .Mac, it is definately better than ical

And i dun need the sync function anyway <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Yeah, it's dumb. If you leave iCal open all the time, it won't update the date. You have to quit and reopen it every day. Very un-Mac-like, especially to those people who reboot every few months
