Talking Keyboard

I am trying to set up a MacBook Air for my grandpa who can't see very well, and I would like to make the computer speak characters as he types them and maybe words or sentences when he finishes them but I can't find any software that allows me to do this. Does anyone know of any software or have any solutions? Thx

You can have him dictate his stuff instead, if he wishes. Click into a text input field and hit the function key twice, then talk.

Thx, but we already tried that, he talks to slow and never knows exactly what he wants to say. We are pretty sure the talking keyboard is the best solution...
