Unfortunately, no. If I was able to convince my dad to let me sell my iBook I'd get one. My mom and I keep trying to convince him but he won't let me.

Congrats. It looks awesome but could you please post pics of the box? I'm really curious as to how the new iMac lays in the box. We all know Apple has OOB experience down to a science. I've always loved the way they package their computers. It's that extra little attention to detail that just heightens the mac experience

here you go, from earlier in the thread.

<a href="http://www.alcimedes.com/computer_images/computer_monitors.JPG" target="_blank">entire computer</a>

<a href="http://www.alcimedes.com/computer_images/insides.JPG" target="_blank">PC's guts</a>

the pictures are big, but they show things well enough. that's my PC setup. my other computer is the dual USB iBook, which i love.

i got a wonderful deal on the monitors, picked up all three for less than $750.

Well...I have an iBook w/AirPort card, so it can be completely wireless. Therefore, this pic should count:

 This is what my iBook looked like before being repaired. For details, head on over to <a href="http://kdesign.n3.net/ibook.html" target="_blank">my web site</a>.

UPDATE: For some reason the image isn't displaying in the forum. Go to <a href="http://kdesign.n3.net/" target="_blank">my web site</a> for details (there is a link to the iBook page near the top).

Hey, Blackmagic!

where did you get that desk? Is that an Ikea desk?

The picture is dark, so it is hard to tell, but is the desk black / drak charcoal?

I'd love to know where you got that.

Sorry guys, I sold the iMac already. Didn't have a chance to take any pics of it...

No, I'm still waiting like most people. I don't know what the hell is going on with these things... for a computer that started shipping over a week ago, there are so FEW people that actually have one!

I hope it isn't something to do with the firmware problem I read about a few days ago... (can't remember where now...)

Duck Tape is actually a particular brand of duct tape, so thegelding is actually correct in his statement. Saying Duck Tape instead of duct tape just as innocent as calling a vacuum cleaner Hoover. Everybody knows you're talking about a hot tub when you say Jacuzzi...

Hehe - I knew a girl in college who had her entire dress for the commencement dance made out of duc(k/t) tape! It was incredible! Her shoe straps were also tape along with her date's bow tie and cummerbund. I was impressed, although I imagine it got a little hot after dancing...

Eugen, what kind of mousepad is that?

I have the same mouse pad as Eugene. It's one of those thing, textured plastic ones from 3M. They rule!

I agree, it does.

MacMedia, I think your setup is the nicest looking yet. Very nice.

I've really gotta upgrade my office.
