What do you want me to do about it?  I know it's ridiculous, but the custom made earbuds have reached "insane" levels.  I honestly don't know how much better they can make the damn things.

I was trying to make the point that Beats earbuds is NOT what the Pros use (despite Iovine's BS marketing).

No, no, your point I got. I was just amazed at how far companies go to reach perfection in their products. And I like that.

Yeah, they are cool, but it's just expensive and I know that most people can't afford it. But at least do what you can to experience it. I haven't tried these top end ear buds, but I know what some of these high end audio products sound like, so it's just a different variation of the same goal.

I read about the most expensive speaker systems and the price is out of this world at $2Mil a side, but it's the shear size. Check out the Transmission Audio Ultimate.  it's just one company's vision of taking audio to an EXTREME level. there are companies that make some of the most ridiculous products, but what the heck, the same technology EVENTUALLY gets filtered down to the rest of us.

I'll let you know on my findings on these custom moulded earbuds.

That company makes one heck of a speaker range!

I suspect it's temporary. This site uses the term banned for temporary as well as permanent revocation of posting privileges. It can be a little confusing.

Good to know, thanks. Confusing indeed. Well, I hope he can share more of his knowledge on headphones and speakers as he got my interest. And I'm probably not getting a $1000 headphone set, I may be in the market for something in the $300-500 range if it really makes me relive music. I'll probably need to re-rip some CD's into lossless but that's ok.

Or I could buy some 24bit 192kHz from sites like these:

Yet after reading this article I'm not so sure anymore:

Sure, they're more than $3b, but with those two purchases, Apple could devastate M$ in the business computing market.

The PC market is dying, I think that buying a $3B company that will pay for itself in just a few short years is a better bet.  Also, "shutting windows out" would be a bad move after they just brought Microsoft Office to the iPad.

Apple made a mistake.

But this?  Tim Cook has lost his mind.  This company has no product worth buying.

2 moves that would defiantly paint Apple as a monopoly, federal government would most likely move in and shut down the deal.

That has to be one of the worst ideas anyone has ever posted. As mentioned it would run afoul of antitrust laws if they tried to shut out windows. The other problem is that this isn't much of a growth market. It's just consolidating competition. The same goes for Quickbooks. It wouldn't be allowed, and even if it was, it's still a bad idea.
