If someone asked you to carry a device that can tell anybody were you are, can turn on the microphone, can turn on the camera remotely and use easily obtainable software such as the recently released Snoopy to identify personal information about you - health wise such as a peanut allergy you would probably say no-way. Every day people carry iPhones around and the government or using Snoopy people can find out about you.
Iphone is an indispensable personal assistant for many people. However it contains a lot of personal information.
As a security professional of over 22 years experience I am making the above statement after reviewing the security framework in Apple devices and there are a lot more features for security than Android - no doubt. However the phone is vulnerable, albeit to people who know what they are doing.
I would appreciate thoughts on this?
