1) The pro towers are overpriced, I agree. But that is because they have an update that is coming....maybe even a very big update.
2) Very little software---See, if you believe that, then you are just not very well informed. Yes,there are more total titles for Windows. But, the number of good, usable software is not much different. You are just like every other stupid PC troll that comes in here...you think that because there isn't much Mac software in, say, Best Buy, then there must not be that much. The fact is that even with a 5% market share Apple has tons of apps available. You can buy from them, the mac distributors, and soon Apple retail locations. You can also find almost anything online. Do a search on cnet downloads under Mac and see what happens. I don't even want to think of all the shitty, non-functional system destroying windows software I have used.
3) Software runs like crap? What software? Office runs great even in classic mode. Games almost never crash for me. Ported over from Windows? I don't even think you know what that means. Even if it has been, it still runs and usually runs just fine. Try photoshop and see what it runs like compared to Windows.
Does Windows have usable, stable apps like iTunes and iMovie? These may sound like kiddy play to you, but I have used them and share the opinion of many that they are not only easy to use but are GREAT apps that just keep getting better. Internet Explorer's interface is awesome on the Mac. It is even more stable than before. How about developers like Adobe, Macromedia, Disney and Blizzard...do THEY ignore the Mac?
This isn't just my opinion and every one else's here against yours. It is that your arguments just aren't true. Not even a litte bit! You are totally uninformed.
FINAL GRADE IN ANTI-TROLL CLASS: 12%
Stuff I use:
Office 2001
Office 98
AOL Instant Messenger for OSX
Internet Explorer
Quicktime (ported TO Windows, BTW)
Mail (included and free storage/retrieval of msg's)
iTunes
iMovie
TextEdit
Photoshop
Music Time Deluxe (for notation of music)
StarCraft
Acrobat Reader
..and that is just the everyday stuff I use. This represents probably 1/10,000 of what is available. Ever heard of Filemaker? How about Final Cut Pro? Appleworks? iDVD? Norton Anti Virus? (not that we need it, troll). After Effects? Illustrator? InDesign?
Yep, your right. No software. Bad software. My mistake!
Don't even get me started on Web software and education software. We'd be here all day.
Have a nice day, Mr. Troll.
