here's a preview of what our vBulletin will look like. Brad and I have been busting our asses on this for the past 2 or 3 weeks to get it to not suck... so here it is.


forum and thread pages follow a similar theme... header is on all pages, obviously...

basically, the look is 'aqua meets grey'- icons and the sort are as os x as it gets, yet maintaining the current muted color scheme.

And for the rest: it looks good (although some might complain that you miss out on an opportunity to haul over the design a bit more - aren't the appleinsiders an esthetically challenged community...)

so is silicon alley coming back?? the few times i visited there i left with a headache trying to decipher all the in-jokes <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> perhaps i just ain't smart enough....hope to see vB soon...looks good....g

I'm not sure why Jon posted this in Suggestions too since we're not taking suggestions on it.

Please can you use GMT/UTC for the clock. We don't all know the conversion from the differing US time zones.

I believe vB lets you chose what time zone you want.

Sorry to hijack this thread but its hard to contact mods just now. Jon, is there a reason why my latest post uses my real name rather than login? Don't care much apart from the fact my wife can now tell how long I spend at this place. I can think of some instances where it might be awkward though.
