Guys, I love you and all... but could we please please please have a search that works? It just times out or gives me a white screen. After 30 odd attemtps I got ONE search to work (and of course didn't find what I was after).

Why doesn't the search work? It's been like this for as long as I can remember. I wanted to keep from opening a new thread but looks like I may have to. Where is the 'screen savers for os x' thread which lists the cool savers out there?

If search worked I wouldn't need to ask!

Yeah, I try to use the search every now and then, thinking it may had been fixed. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[oyvey]" />

Okay... and since I have no reply from an admin....what am I to think?

I've tried various things to try to fix this. It bothers me too. In fact, this was on my to-do list to try to fix when I took AI offline earlier tonight.

Some forums can be searched fine, others not.

Unfortunately, the solution still eludes me. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> I'll still try to find out what else I can do.

Is there any way to add tracking to a thread or a particular post? Sometimes I post something and I can't find it again, and of course the search doesn't work.

But I suppose if the search is that tough to get working, then implementing something like that would be much harder... dang. Well, whatever. Let's hope we can move to vB pretty soon.

can't we just beat gorgonzola with a stick so that he gives us the keys for the server ? I would really like to do that.

Lets add a Sherlock channel for AI! That would be the most used thing on Sherlock for me...
