Post per page confusion

Have any of you (pointing the general direction of the admins.) been fooling around with the post per page settings? Well then you screwed up royally didn´t you? SHAME ON YOU.

I have a default setting of 50 post per page. When I browse the forums threads with less than 50 posts but more than 40 shows itself as one page (as I wanted it to be). But when I want to read the thread it suddenly is in two pages.

Actually it isn´t a huge problem for me. But perhaps you forgot to turn on a switch, turn a knob or adjust a level and I just wanted to let you know...

yeah, i noticed this as well...
i wish the default was 50.

We're down to 40 temporarily to relieve stress from the server.

I'll put the 50 option back after things settle down post-WWDC.
