Five new CD's this week:

Q: Best of '03
Gotta love those Q magazine collections.

Elbow: Cast of Thousands
Great CD. Better than the first.
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Greatest Hits and Videos (2-disc)
Fantastic value. 16 track CD and 16 track DVD for the price of a CD. Usually the DVD itself would be $25. Not my favorite band, but you gotta love Flea, and I hope to pick up some of his technique when I finally start to learn the bass.
Suede: Singles (2-disc)
Got all the CD's altready, so nothing new here, except that this is the special "Asian Tour Edition" which has a free live DVD from a show in Singapore. I saw them live in Hong Kong, so this is a good one for me to have. Too bad the band broke up.
Manic Street Preachers: Forever Delayed: Greatest Hits (2-disc)
Great band (I love British Pop Music) and yet another 2CD "Special Edition" with a great remix CD. This band is always remixed by the best, and this remmix CD is a gem.

Next on my shopping list: Primal Scream (2-disc special edition)

Morphine - Thursday

Hey Ton ton, I just picked up the Inspiral Carpets Cool As import edition. Two cd's and a dvd of all there videos, five live songs and an interview. All for thirty bucks. Not too bad considering the american release is just the one cd for 18.99

And better yet, they're supporting Muse on their UK tour. Nice time to visit the UK. Too bad I don't have the $$$.

Vocab by the Fugees just played on my iPod and I was rather impressed. Nice acoustic, drum-free backing. Incredible.

Do I need another state of rap rant?
