A 8200 series Dell running at 2.2 Ghz with a system bus at 400 mhz. As much as I dislike MS this one blows away any mac. Cute macs dont make it if you are into production.

neither i, nor anyone in my family, are into production...neither, i assume, is the majority of people who are looking for a HOME computer....the toughest, most demanding job we will ask of the computer is that the kids will make movies and burn them onto dvd...the iMac can do this, looks great and is different and "Doesn't Look Like a Boring Freakin Computer"....maybe it's just me, but computer boxes look like Sh1t and i like having an iMac in the house soooo much better than an ugly beige, gray, tan or black box.....g
