Can the iPod play OGG encoded files? I have a ton of OGGs that would take me forever to convert to mp3... I may be getting an iPod soon and I wanna be able to play these OGGs on the road.

OGG files are not currently supported by the iPod. You can, however, use the OGG Quicktime plug-in to add OGG support to iTunes, then you can use iTunes to convert the OGG file to AAC so that you can use it in your iPod.

Please realize that, whenever possible, it is far better to go back to original CDs and re-rip them than it is to convert from one lossy format to another lossy format. Lossy-to-lossy conversions produce a generational degradation, loosely akin to what happens in the analog realm when copying one cassette tape to another.
