No iMac yet ... Someone hold me.

Pre-message warning: Please do not read if you are averse to people whining about not receiving their iMacs. That's what I'm about to do.

How many people have received iMacs from catalog retailers? I've seen a couple recent references to iMacs showing up from MacMall, but reports are sketchy.

In particular, has anyone received one from MacConnection.com? That's where I ordered mine from ... I was a late orderer (Feb. 15), so I hardly have standing to complain too much to people who have been waiting much longer ... But it's an agonizing wait.

MacConnection tells me they expect a huge shipment on Friday, from which they expect to fill my order.

I'll believe it when I see it, since I keep hearing various reports like: (1) Apple has really made only three iMacs, and 84 million have been ordered; (2) the iMac is a cleverly disguised radioactive deathtrap that is part of Steve Jobs' nefarious plan to control the universe; or (3) the iMac's LCD screen is made of a super-rare compound that occurs naturally only on the undersides of Amazonian tree slugs, and they're running low.

are you haveing dreams about the imac, i hope to god not.

another option is theft, steal some1s while they are asleep.

then yet another option is to hold up the orenge in your fridge and yell at that d*nm orenge until you feel better, or better yet, tell it to hand over the imac <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

I ordered mine the 5th of Febuary and it just shipped on March 3rd, be patient.

his first post and he already wants sexual gratification?!?! it takes 500 posts to EARN a hug....1000 posts for first base....and you have to be in EmAn territory (3806 posts and counting...the freak ....said with love EmAn) to approach lewinsky land.....g

Besides, look: I've doubled my number of posts! I think the reward for that is a brand new iMac, delivered unexpectedly tomorrow from MacConnection.com. ... Yeah, that's the ticket ...
