How about "sub folders"

Future Hardware
- iPods / iPod mini
- iSight
- iMac
- PowerMac
- eMac
- iBook
- PowerBook
- All
- Other
- etc...

So people dont have to spend "extra" time wondering if their idea has been brought up

If not by "product" then how about:
-Sub folder "Guess"
-Sub folder "Insider Info"
-Sub folder "Idea"

I don't see why this would help. Besides, you have too many categories. If you want to split future hardware, at least bring it down to three categories only - laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices, or consumer, pro, and peripherals. At the very most, have five - iMac, iBook, PowerMac, PowerBook, and peripherals. Having a separate category for, of all things, the iSight, just makes no sense. Besides, discussion on future hardware generally gravitates toward whichever product has gone the longest without an update. You don't see many iBook threads there because the iBook probably won't get an update soon.

Aren't our lives complicated enough as it is? I'm gonna have to side with Luca here and say no to this one. Future hardware is second only to AO in its pointlessness and flaming, why try to change that?

Bingo.

No need in making it even more complicated for the FH noobs and crybabies. There's definitely not a need to add such a mammoth complicated abstraction layer like this.
