I'm looking to upgrade the stock Nvidia FX 5200 in my 1.6 gHz G5 with either a ATI Radeon 9600 or a 9800. Is the huge price difference worth the preformance gain between the two? They both seem similar on paper, but I was wondering if you guys had anything to say about it. Also, is there a way i can get either of the cards aftermarket with an ADC port on it, becuase I like having the two ports right there on the monitor. Thanks for the input.

My advice would be to wait for the X800 Pro which should come in at around the price you're looking for. This next generation of video cards from Nvidia and ATI is a huge leap in performance over the current crop. Can't help with the ADC though, sorry.

Not as yet. However, I think the most logical time to announce it would be with the PowerMac refresh at the WWDC.
