Kerry just gave the conservatives a line of atttack. They wont address the issues--they'll address the timber company. Unless....

And she was like a dozen questions ago.
Watching the questioners during the answers (or on follow up later) is illustrative.

Kerry's polite address and (generally) sticking to the subject seems to please people.

The guy who asked Bush the environment question was staring icily at him the whole time.
Didn't look happy with the answer at all. You can see people busting him on bullshit.

Those around here who know me know that I'm intellectually honest about this. Can someone confirm for me that Bush is really doing as he seems to be? [edit]

Finally .... the stem cell questions
Kerry just got lobbed a softball on the stem cell question, and he hit at least a standup triple. I'd like him to point out how many fetuses are thrown out without being given an opportunity to contribute, contrasting how Bush says life is being destroyed for stem cell research.

I guess the tie-in to abortion makes it too sensitive for straight talk...

More like the old lady wants to watch "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" or sum bullshit like that.

Found it on C-Span, thanks man!
Well, as much as I like Kerry to win the election, I think Bush has actually done allot better than in Florida. At least he doesn't LOOK LIKE ONE just waking up after 3 weeks drinking spree

did this president, whose election CENTERED on the decision of the supreme court, just say that he'd "want'em all voting for me"?

He's better briefed or remembering his briefing better than the first debate repetition-over-substance. Actually quoting some facts and figures this time,

Still not answering some questions and blowing smokescreen on others.

I'd say Kerry clearly appears better with the crowd (names, courteous address, topical).

Bush has had a few complete non-sequiturs.

Yeah, if this doesn't get written up as a bigger trouncing than the first debate, I'll have to wonder about our "liberal" media once again.

brilliant: "It's never quite as simple as the President wants you to believe."

And then Bush gets up and talks about how it's just yes or no.

Nope. He didn't answer the question. Bush was right. Everyone else was wrong.

Is it just me or did he totally ignore the question from that lady that asked him to list 3 mistakes he made? Instead he made excuses for perceived mistakes.

At least Kerry answered for him.
