Concerning that stamp of an image... where is tha pack of cigarettes and the DELL memos from last time???

Whatever is in that picture is real. Whether it's an iWalk or real Apple product in a different story but that thing is a real thing

The first time I saw that web site I thought it was a spoof of rumors sites.

Are there any past examples of spymac.com coming up with any real "scoops" that didn't turn out to be complete BS? (I'm not saying there haven't been -- I'm actually asking)

It looks like it has a case next to it. It's dark, prob leather, maybe that what someone said and they had an artist put together a iWalk that was dark and textured

yah.. spymac is generally a horrible site. But this thing looks kinda real to me, especially with the ipod-style scroll wheel. Maybe its just the tiny picture, but I am eagerly awaiting the movie.

Hmm.

If you blow up the photo, the edges around the iWalk thing seem a bit harsh and jagged, Could any photoshop or 3D composite artists weigh in on the likelyhood of this being a doctored vid/pic?

I'd bet on it being a hoax.

Didn't SpyMac have a photo of some ugly, lopsided silver thing that they called iWalk and were *so sure* was going to come out when iPod came out?

Funny how they stick with the same name, but have a totally different picture.

I think that John hit the nail on the head.

Feh. This is no more than a quest for hits on their site to secure advertising.

Look at the TiBook beside it!! Firewire jack on the top of the device... Remiscent of the iPod... This is soooo cool!

Impossible to say until we see the video, the picture is just too small. If you blow it up, the edges around everything look super harsh and jaggy. I am truly intrigued, though I'm keeping my expectation low, it looks kind of like a funky iPaq...

What does this mean for iWalk: well, they claim a "custom fitted, soft leather case."

Whoops! Gee, unless Steve suddenly lost a great degree of his control over every product Apple puts out, or... they missed that detail.

These guys are having a laugh, but if Apple were to release something like this, why? Who would buy an iPod if they could have this? Thats why a PDA as we know it will not be made at Apple unless it makes us want to buy an iPod & iOther etc. Which means that SpyMac are shisto when it come to this.. They want 3 days of glory, with badly rendered (if 'rendered'' at all) product mockups and artist impressions...

I seem to remember the raging debate as to whether the slightly re-skinned G4 tower was a photoshop Frankenstein...it turned out to be real. The Cube turned out to be real as well.

I'm not comfortable in decrying the legitimacy of this thing....yet.

Let's see if a believable video is forthcoming.

Somebody PLEASE think to save a copy in case they get smacked-down. Folks could pass it around in the chat room later.

If it's real I hope it is app-laden like the PocketPC's because I've gone off Palms in the last few months. I also hope that it has a color display. Mono SUCKS.

The more that I look at that little picture... the more that it looks fake. Darn. The top left corner looks suspect to me.and the apple logo on the dial looks a bit off-center
