Curator displays thumbnails for every image document in a selected folder so that you do not need to individually open every document to see the image. You can also use Curator to organize your documents and to use specific images with other applications.

The Image Overview window provides not only the thumbnails but also a browser for you to locate the images that you want to see. You can also create a favorites list of folders that you frequently use. Curator indexes the thumbnails so that images are quickly displayed in the Image Overview window.

Not only can you view multiple images in a convenient format and control the view size of the thumbnails, you can also display the document name or delete the file by control- or right-clicking on the thumbnail.

In addition, you can drag the thumbnail:
To another Image Overview window or Finder to move or copy the document
Into an e-mail composition to send the document as an attachment
To the TIFFany3 icon in the dock to open the document in TIFFany3 or into a TIFFany3 document window to add the dragged file as a layer
To the PixelNhance icon in the dock or into a PixelNhance Control window to open the document in PixelNhance

Curator is free and available for download for Apple Mac OS X 10.1

Remind me what this does that <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=10021&db=mac" target="_blank">PhotoGrid</a> doesn't do faster...

I use PhotoGrid X in conjunction with <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=1318&db=mac" target="_blank">DropIcon 3.0</a> (drag and drop OS X image thumbnail finder icons) and it's an absolutely perfect combination.

I downloaded curator, and it does exactly one thing. Browse a folder of images. Can't even browse subfolders concurrently. :-

But it IS fast and it DOES have that cool image size slider and it IS free.

But it DID crash within the first minute I used it.

With PhotoGrid I can ignore this one unless I want to play with that slider.

Photogrid huh? Well anyways thanks for all the suggestions. I don't have OSX at home...just an iMac here at work loaded with 10.1 so I don't get to check out as much software as I would like.

Not bad for a free set of software. I may try that PixelEnhance software...
