quantum frieball 1.2gig hd driver

I have a older powermac 6110 with a quantum 1.2gig hard drive installed i am running os 7.5 and would like to upgrade to os 8 but it says my hd is unsuported and i need to install a driver which drive set will not do I would like to know how to do this and if i can get the software free thanks for any help chris

I think you're screwed. You could pick up a really cheap drive that does work, though.
