final cut pro

Thread Starter
hey i have a project that i am working on that has pieces on five dif computers. i have copied the original video imports to a massive hard drive for the final cut. basicly it will claim that the media is offline and wont let me reconnect to the same file because it is in a dif path name. the reason i am doing this is so i can have multiple people working on different scenes for a film. i am running out of time as the deadline is the 1st.

Well you can re-link media in your clip bin by ctrl-clicking on the clip and then re-linking to the new location. This process won't update the clips in the timeline though. I've never actually been through this process so i don't have a good answer.

Try asking this question on <a href="http://www.2-pop.com." target="_blank">www.2-pop.com.</a> They'll know.
