Is it just me, or is the header "This will be a big one, even for us" something you could take as an obvious hint towards a larger Cinema Display. You could take all of the hints and give them double meanings (both hype, and hint).

I wouldn't even want to guess how much Apple would charge for something like that. Still a display that large would be fun to look at.

but by that logic what does
"going where no pc has gone before" mean?

2ghz? i doubt it... a new device would not be a pc well then what is it?

Let's see.. big even for us, that could mean a 27" LCD. Beyond the rumor sites, meaning it's not a goddamn PDA . Taking a PC where it's never gone before.. that has to mean a mobile tablet display. A 27" LCD tablet display! YES!!!

Price wouldn't have to be that high.

Current prices on lineup are:

15" $599
17" $999
22" $2499

(remember, the 22" was $3999 when it came out and people still bought them!)

Assume a price drop at MWSF and you get something like:

15" $399
17" $799
22" $1999

That still leave $2K worth of room between the new price on 22" and where the 22" debuted.

I'd guess, based on past experience,

27" $2999

Sweet screen. Too much for me of course, but as they pump out more the prices fall and eventually it will be

99" $999 and I'll be laughing maniacally...
