Like I said in a few other posts... I find Macjournal more useful and intuitive than I do Omnioutliner.
To me, an outlining prorgam should allow you to build an essay by entering the specific sentences of each paragraph (as an outline) and build the entire essay by fleshing out the paragraphs. A great little program on the Amiga to do this was called Flow.
Now, granted, I tried Omni Outliner a few versions ago, so perhaps I should give it a shot again, What I remember most, though, was that it really required a significant concept change as to how it should behave...
A window opened and there was very little which indicated how it should behave.
Now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is a 'bad' program, but the question was 'do I use it?" and the answer is no, I can't.
