I didn't catch the first part of the show, but when Hanks came out to give out the Best Director award he was saying naughty words off-stage, seemingly directed at Jon Stewart.

Are you sure it wasn't a joke poking fun at Sean Penn and Chris Rock getting into it last year??? I didn't see it, but I can't see tom hanks being pissed let alone at jon stewart.

Well, in half-defense of him, the long hair is part of his character in the Da Vinci Code ... but you're correct ... it does make him look stupid.
