My Logitech Click did the same thing, it projected something that looked like the mouse itself from the front.

Haha that is amazing. I need to go out and buy the mighty mouse this weekend. I tried to play WC3 and then relized that I had no right click >.<.

Nice. My old one button Apple mouse projects the very same pattern.

My Logitech MX510 projects something pretty rude

Mine does that, and mine is the original apple optical pro mouse (the clear shell with black). I never realized that it looked like a mouse though. I've also thought of it as a deformed apple [the fruit, not the company] for some odd reason...
