File Copy

When I copy files from my hard drive to the USB drive, the date of the file changes to Today. What do I need to do to get the date of the copied file to remain the original save date of the file?

Thanks

Do both the creation date and modification date change? You do get utilities to edit these dates such as File Buddy. I don't know if it does batch files though. Maybe this would be better:

I use a better finder rename for file naming and it is pretty good.
