Yeah, me too. When I was younger I had a fast metabolism and was one of those exceptionally annoying people who could eat anything and just stay thin without trying. Now, though, I have to be a bit more careful about what I eat. Fortunately, I did see it coming, so I made the most of my fast metabolism whilst I could.

The chocolate mousse is very easy to make - just chocolate and eggs. Want the recipe?

Thanks, Mr. H! I'd love to have the recipe! Go ahead and PM it to me.

Girlfriends... ha! I have about as much luck finding those as I do boyfriends. It's sad.

And Marc's a prime example of why I love talking to you Brits; you never know whether they're meaning to be an asshole, or just joking.

Depends on what you'd like to hear, you cheeky bastard.

I'm on at an odd time because it's usually the only time I:
1) Have a network signal.
2) Have time after work to go online.

I work until 1am during the week.

Dear God Almighty....

Have any of you ever heard of fast food restaurants? I'm a closer at one, in which the store closes at midnight. Not near as sexy as pole dancing, I know.

Keep dreaming sweet little dreams, Ebby and Marc.

And maimezvous, I wouldn't worry about your age too much. Don't beat yourself up.

But better than no job at all, looking...for a month and a half now...(it looks like things are looking up, I had 2 firm job offers yesterday! WOOT )

There is no shame in flippin' burgers if it keeps the lights on and gas in the tank.

a_greer: Well, I don't own a car, but this very job has helped me to pay for college, in which I just recently earned my Associate's degree. Now, I'm saving up to move to Atlanta to go to an art college there.

There are some great Artistic colleges here in California. You can stay with me.

Anyways back to reality, what kind of degree? I have a AA in Photography in the bag, a Video arts as a close second, and transferring to a College that has a really exciting Teledramitic Arts and Communications Major.

It's funny, because you know what? I lived in California when I was seven and I miss it a lot. I've been wanting to go back there. \ I do know they have great art schools out there... and Cupertino and Emeryville are within close range.... okay... this is getting out of hand here... Damn you, Ebby.

I have an A.A., it's a general one though. I did declare Animation as my major. I was initially majoring in Zoology; I'm deeply into science. Chemistry was my favorite class in high school.

Well, the link is nothing special; the same photo there is on my website, in which you can access anytime. Perhaps because the link is an attachment URL from another message board... works for me though.

FormerLurker's doggie pic is pretty damn cute... though I'm more of a cat person.

I knew it was my fault, I just didn't know how.

Oh, and thanks.

I'll find some cannon fodder to post later when the gash in my wrist heals. I'd need, like, 4 band-aids for the sucker! Note to people who want to throw a cat into sprinklers: Wear gloves.

OK, so I was actually walking parallel to the sprinklers when the cat freaked, but for a split second I did think about where I should drop the cat. But I am not mean to my pets. In fact, Ebby is spoiled beyond belief.

Hope you wound heals soon. I just cut my finger the other day with a BIG knife... work related injury. It's always either a cut or a burn...

Well, not exactly. I set her down with less than a 1 foot drop. She is 18 and has us trained pretty well. My other cats are each 15. Can't really call any of them kitties anymore but the words lazy, pesky, spoiled and "OK, I'll open the door" are frequent around here.
