Thread Starter
Flash Memory Summit http://www.flashmemorysummit.com/ coincides with WWDC. Maybe solid-state hybrid drives will find a way into the next revised notebook. Seagate now offers such a product http://www.seagate.com/cda/newsinfo/...,3199,00.html. Samsung is introducing a NAND drive notebook for sale at home market http://www.forbes.com/technology/200...0706flash.html

I couldn't care less about hybrid HDDs, what I care about are the actual SSD.

Hybrid seems like a good way to increase product demand thus lowering price by easing it into the market.
I read a lot here, post little.

I remember when you were so enthusiastic....

Wasn't that like 3 months ago?

I think I will step out to my local sandwich shop and see what Apple WWDC
rumors I may find.

Hopefully someone will leave something interesting in the elevator.....

Hybrid hard drives are going to be huge, and the Macbook has the greatest advantage as it's HD is user replacable.
